By sea – Catamarans and speedboats make the Salvador/Morro journey daily from the Salvador Maritime Terminal, close to Mercado Modelo.
Journey made in open sea. Those who are not used to it usually feel seasick
By land – Morro de São Paulo is an island, so land access is only possible to the city of Valença (the closest municipality). You can take a speedboat to get to Morro. The trip can be made via BR 324, BA-091 or BR 101.
Route made by car along the BR. It is the longest route.
Semi-land route – Transfer from the Hotel or Airport to the Salvador Maritime Terminal where you take a boat to Mar Grande on Itaparica Island, from there you board a transport to the Bonfim Pier in Valença and then take a speedboat to Morro de São Paulo.
Part of the journey is made by land and part by sea. It is considered the best transfer.
By air – Salvador International Airport has daily flights to Morro de São Paulo via air taxis licensed by Anac.
