Morro de São Paulo is a small village located on the peninsula of the archipelago is located in Bahia, more precisely in the district of the Brazilian municipality of Cairu – one of the two Brazilian archipelago municipalities, formed by 26 islands. By sea – Catamarans and speedboats make the Salvador/Morro journey daily from the Salvador Maritime Terminal, close to Mercado Modelo.
Journey made in open sea. Those who are not used to it usually feel seasick
By land – Morro de São Paulo is an island, so land access is only possible to the city of Valença (the closest municipality). You can take a speedboat to get to Morro. The trip can be made via BR 324, BA-091 or BR 101.
Route made by car along the BR. It is the longest route.
Semi-land route – Transfer from the Hotel or Airport to the Salvador Maritime Terminal where you take a boat to Mar Grande on Itaparica Island, from there you board a transport to the Bonfim Pier in Valença and then take a speedboat to Morro de São Paulo.
Part of the journey is made by land and part by sea. It is considered the best transfer.
By air – Salvador International Airport has daily flights to Morro de São Paulo via air taxis licensed by Anac.
Done by helicopter or air taxi. Great options but have a high cost.

With 8 km in length, Quarta Praia is marked by the presence of the Atlantic Forest with its long coconut groves and mangroves. Its natural pools invite us to dive in with the fish.
Here you will find Praia do Encanto, Praia de Guarapuá and Praia da Gamboa. On the way to the latter, during low tide, it is a good idea to enjoy a clay bath. These are the most distant beaches, but just as beautiful as the others!

Still exploring the place, but now by sea, it is possible to go around the island, visit its neighbor Boipeba and have the perspective of sailors upon arriving at this paradise.
End of the day? Another option to enjoy is the sunset. A cinematic setting on every beach where you choose to watch it. The most famous of these is Toca do Morcego. To give you an idea, it is common for spectators to applaud the spectacle after the sun has completely descended to the horizon.
