Harmonia das Antigas and É o Tchan on the “Best Monday in the World”, on January 30th

Celebrating its 15th season, next Monday (30), the event will host a show by É o Tchan. “The intention is to bring to the stage at ‘Melhor Segunda 15 Anos’ some attractions that were part of and marked the project over the years. Our wish was to bring everyone, but we don’t always get the schedules to match. But we are managing to create a program that feels like a 15th anniversary and that the fans deserve. It will be an incredible season”, says Xanddy. With the gates scheduled to open at 8 pm, the event will take place at the Pituaçu Stadium and will have a unique structure, in celebration of the project’s 15th anniversary.

The Best Monday in the World

Entitled “The Best Monday in the World,” Harmonia do Samba’s rehearsals usually take place a month before Salvador’s Carnival, always on Mondays, and serve as a real warm-up for the Momo festivities, where Harmonia do Samba leads the “Meu & Seu” block. In 2014, the event, organized by the production company HS Produções, will celebrate its twelfth edition in Bahia and, therefore, will guarantee another unforgettable season with a successful audience, every week. With a very characteristic format, before Harmonia do Samba performs, a musical attraction leads the party’s joy. Each edition, “The Best Monday in the World” registers the number of at least eight thousand people per day and, in the last rehearsal – which takes place in a larger area –, it has already registered a record audience of 26 thousand people. Specially programmed for the audience that enjoys the band, the show’s repertoire is planned to make the crowd remember the group’s unforgettable hits. Harmonia takes to the stage a “summary” of songs from their entire career, without rules.

With the success of the event in Bahia, in 2012 the project was taken to the Marvelous City and repeated the feat in 2013. In keeping with the event, the first edition of “The Best Monday in the World” in Rio de Janeiro takes place on Mondays in July at the Barra Music concert hall, located in Barra da Tijuca. In 2013, the project returned to the state of Rio de Janeiro for a single edition following the same format as the project held in Salvador at the I9 Music concert hall, in the São Gonçalo region.
