Itinerary for the schooner trip from Salvador to Ilha dos Frades and Itaparica:

First Stop: Frades Island

• Spend approximately 2 hours at the stunning Ponta de Nossa Senhora Beach, known for its calm, crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming.
• The beach has kiosks offering drinks and fresh seafood snacks, the fruit of local labor.

Second Stop: Itaparica Island

• Departure from Ilha dos Frades with a journey of approximately 40 minutes to Itaparica.
  (Please note: After the schooners leave, there is no other vessel available.)
• Upon arrival, disembark in an environmentally protected area. Due to the shallow waters, transportation to the beach will be by a smaller boat.

Activities in Itaparica:

• Lunch: At a local restaurant, you will enjoy a delicious buffet with meat, fish, chicken, various side dishes, desserts and a cup of coffee to finish. The rustic atmosphere, with kiosks and tables on the sand, makes the experience even more special.
• Historical Tour (Optional): A local guide invites you on a brief walk through the history of Itaparica.
• Relaxation: If you prefer, you can enjoy the restaurant’s hammocks, sunbathe or simply relax in the island’s calm, shallow waters.

• Not allowed: Taking drinks for consumption on the schooner.
• Taxes not included:
  • Entrance to Frades Island: R$25.00
  • Boarding fee at Salvador Nautical Terminal: R$20.00

Schedule/Route:

• 8am: Boarding. Arrive 30 minutes early (7:30am);
• 5:30 pm: Arrival in Salvador.

Rules of use:

• Minimum Number of Participants: The tour will only take place if the minimum number of participants is reached.
• Reservation Deadline: Reservations must be made no later than 12 hours before the tour date.

    Required data:
  • Full name of participants;
  • Name of hotel in Salvador (If transfer option is chosen);
• Departure time for tour with transfer: It will be defined according to the location of the hotel in Salvador, with transfers starting at 7 am.
• Transfer Limitations:
  • Transfer prices do not include hotels located in the Patamares, Catussaba and Stella Maris neighborhoods.
  • The transfer is offered exclusively for passengers staying in Salvador.
• Type of Tour: The tour will be carried out in a group and is not a private activity.
• Scheduling: The tour date will be adjusted according to the passenger’s period of stay in Salvador.
• Cancellation:
  • Cancellations are allowed up to 12 hours before the tour.
  • In case of delays or cancellations with less than 12 hours notice, there will be no refund.
• Refund for Withdrawal: In case of withdrawal, the amount paid will be refunded within 7 business days, after payment confirmation.
• Taxes Not Included:
  • Entrance fee to Ilha dos Frades: R$25.00.
  • Boarding fee at Salvador Nautical Terminal: R$20.00.
