Summer Festival 2016 announces attractions and news

Ivete Sangalo and Natiruts are the first acts announced for the Salvador Summer Festival 2016, which will be held on December 10 and 11 at Arena Fonte Nova. The reggae group will be performing on the first day of the festival, while Ivete, the only one to have participated in all editions of the event, will take to the stage on the second day.

Tickets are on sale in the second batch. The public can purchase them at Ticketmix stores, on the Summer Festival website or on the Ingresso Rápido app and website.

With the theme “Nothing Will Be Like Before”, the event reaches its 18th edition with the promise of surprising the public with several new features in the party concept.

On Saturday, the event’s musical lineup will be pop, rock and reggae. On Sunday, the public will enjoy axé music and sertanejo. Gates will open at 2 pm on both days.

According to the organizers, the location of the stadium will make it easier to access by public transport, such as buses and subways, as well as other means of transport such as private cars. There will also be a greater number of parking spaces available.

Divided into three sectors, the Summer Festival project consists of the Mix Space (Dance Floor), where the public will find a large area, bar and food court with a variety of options; the Vibe Space (Front Stage), which will guarantee access to the front of the stage and, between the intervals of the shows, performances of attractions on a stage exclusively for this public. The Fly Lounge (VIP) will offer open bar service, limited exclusive parking, DJ performances during the intervals of the shows and even an after party.

FV 2016 will continue its tradition of supporting social institutions, contributing with the donation of financial resources from the collection of the so-called solidarity courtesy. In this edition, the Martagão Gesteira Hospital will be the beneficiary institution.
