Afro Parade holds rehearsal before Carnival, in Pelourinho

The band Cortejo Afro will hold its last rehearsal before Carnival 2018 this Monday (02/05), the Cortejo Afro à Fantasia. During the show, which will take place at Largo Quincas Berro D’Água – Pelourinho, starting at 9 pm, the group will have as guests the singer Margareth Menezes, the tenor Thiago Arancam and the bands Bailinho de Quinta and Jammil.

During the show, the band promises to perform a true “Carnival Cry” and excite the audience with the sound of their compositions, mixed with reinterpretations of classics from MPB, Pop and percussive beats, promoting aesthetic experiences that will combine dance, music and visual arts in the same show. The guests will perform with the band Cortejo Afro, providing a great party.

The project is carried out by the Cortejo Afro Cultural Entity and has the support of the Secretariat of Culture of the State of Bahia.
