Tour Beyond Pelô
In addition to Largo do Pelourinho, we have the neighborhoods of Carmo and Santo Antonio Além Carmo and lots of history to tell. On the Carmo slope, the steps of the Church of the Holy Sacrament where the Brazilian film O Pagador de Promessas was filmed, which won the Palme d’Or at the Cane festival. We will visit the church of the Third Order of Carmo, where the image of the Dead Lord is a life-size work that impresses with its details, decorated with more than two thousand ruby stones representing drops of blood. We will visit the inclined plane, the Largo do Santo Antonio where we will visit the (Forte da Capoeira).

Tour Jorge Amado
Get to know Casa do Rio Vermelho, which, in addition to being a memorial, reveals to Bahians and tourists the intimacy of Jorge and Zélia, a house designed by the two with the help of friends and future visitors, people like Carybé, Cayme, Mário Cravo and other artists. It tells the love story of this couple that captivated tourists and Bahians.

Tour Carybé
Argentinean artist who, after several visits to Bahia, arrived here permanently in 1950, enchanted by the African culture and Bahian food. He learned capoeira and became a follower of Candomblé. A great friend of Jorge Amado, Dorival Cayme, Mário Cravo and other artists of the time, he found his place here. He left his mark on several points of our city and it is these that I want to show you.
